Mark Spain

Mark Spain is a highly regarded British contemporary artist, known for his atmospheric figurative paintings and distinctive use of movement, colour and light. After studying Technical Graphics at Medway College of Art, Mark established a printmaking studio in Kent, producing original etchings and collagraphs before developing his celebrated figurative oil paintings. His elegant depictions of the female form often combine romance, movement and atmosphere, creating artwork with a timeless yet contemporary feel. His work has been exhibited extensively across the UK and is held in private collections around the world.
