About the Artist

Lesley Anne Derks is a contemporary Scottish artist celebrated for her luminous cityscapes and architectural night scenes. Born in Falkirk and trained at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, she developed a distinctive visual language centred on the drama of artificial light within urban environments. Her work often explores iconic skylines such as London, Glasgow, Paris and New York, capturing the glow of streetlamps, reflections on water and the atmospheric haze of nightfall with a cinematic sensibility.
