About the artist:
Mark Francis, a Northern Irish painter based in London, is known for his abstract works that often explore the relationship between sound, science, and colour. Born in 1962 in Newtownards, County Down, Francis completed his art education at St. Martin's School of Art (BA, 1981-1985) and Chelsea School of Art (MA, 1986).
In his recent art, Francis is particularly drawn to colour and sound data. He visually represents how information oscillates through hues, mirroring the subconscious mind.
